van gogh summer

Here we are on the far side of the dog days as the wane of summer sets in with fall just around the corner and our September release of “Love Letters.” The band is thrilled with the final results and we’ve started rehearsals for our long-term Vincent’s residency beginning fall 2019 through spring 2020.

We’re spending the remainder of August coordinating press and radio promotion ahead of the record with our amazing New York-based team. Our promotion focus will be on our original core territory in Massachusetts and Nashville, with LA to follow if the winds carry us west. I feel very good and centered about all of it, and I’m thrilled to commit a significant chunk of dates to Vincent, because, after all, Vincent’s is the nexus of the van Gogh Brothers!

In other news, we’ve started seeing the results of early TV placements from the album and we’re thrilled to report that “Free Today” aired on CBS last fall.

I’m preparing to get back on the usual travel binge with New York, San Francisco and LA on the docket for September with Nashville, Memphis and New Orleans in October and November. And 2020 is shaping up to be an exciting travel year, with private industry events booked already for Asheville next spring and London and Palestine (yes, Palestine!) next fall.

Finally, I’m going off-grid for a week on outer Cape Cod in late August and am so looking forward to being in my East Coast West Coast hang again after a multi-year hiatus. Life is very, very good and I hope the same is true for all of you.
